Clarification
Earlier we received information from a supporter who had rung the council and received a reply that there could be up to 8 turbines on the site. The Case Officer in the Hickley & Bosworth Borough Council Planning Department does not, however, know who this information came from. His opinion is that the likelihood is that SPL will apply for 1-2 turbines to be erected.
That said, the Scoping Report is for 2 turbines but does say that the number of turbines and their exact location have yet to be decided (the Scoping Report is a draft proposal by the constructors, SPL, and they can change its details when they apply for planning permission).
